"A Fragile Flower" Movie Coming To Theaters January 2024

"A Fragile Flower" movie will be released in theaters in the US and India in January 2024. It is a Vietnamese movie shot entirely in the US with the talented cast from Viet Nam and America.

Well-known Vietnamese singer, Nhat Ha, wrote the script and acted in the movie where she shares the life story of a famous, beautiful singer, Thach Thao, with a unique sadness in her voice. The glorious life of an artist on grand stages and luxurious settings unfolds with dark moments bombarded with challenges, lonely tears shed behind the scenes and overwhelming worries about the unforeseen future.

The talented artist reveals how she is torn between the love of a billionaire, a director, a producer, and a musician via 15 melodious songs in Vietnamese, English and French lyrics introduced in the movie. 

Mai Thu Huyen, a well-known director and actress in Viet Nam, always wanted to make a Vietnamese movie in the U.S. Her dream was to showcase the lifestyle and success of the Vietnamese business community in America to the world and the people back in our homeland, and this project has fulfilled her lifelong dream.

The talented film crew also worked side by side with Co-producer Georges N. Chamchoum, Emmy and multiple award-winning film director and producer and Executive Director of the Asian World Film Festival. Georges is the epitome of love and dedication for the movie industry, having been part of it for more than 54 years.

Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen, PharmD, is the spirited, first-time Executive Producer of the movie. She is driven and solves problems as they arise. It is that relentlessness that you’d see in the Vietnamese community, where they create their own future with hard work, the desire to learn, and the ever-changing hats that they wear, serving their families and communities.
